About our company

Lightspeed Computer Services specializes in on-site services for small- to medium-sized business needs. We do not limit ourselves to a specific coverage area, but we actively service most of the extended OKC Metro Area. We have been in business commercially for 5 years, and our owner (and lead tech) has 16 years of general computer experience.

Lightspeed is different from most computer ‘repair’ places due to the amount of trust we generate with our clientele. We advertise with the Ichthys , and we take this very seriously. Know that when you are dealing with Lightspeed, we hold ourselves accountable to Christ for all the work that we do.

SERVICES We offer a wide range of IT services- Virus removal - Hardware installation: computers, monitors, routers, switches, printers, faxes, POS systems, etc- Backup services, imaging solutions, industry software installs/upgrades & maintenance- Web design, hosting- Help with Quicken™, Quickbooks™ and Excel™- Network troubleshooting and low voltage wiring- 3rd Party or outsourced servicesIf you have an IT issue that doesn't seem to fit into any of these catergories, we may still be able to help, so please give us a call!

We do NOT -Sell parts behind a counter or have a retail shop -Power jack servicing on laptops or screen repair

RATE AND TRUST From the small mom-and-pop to the large corporations, businesses have one thing in common: they depend on their computers to do business. If those computers aren't working smoothly, they impact the company's ability to do business, and can cost the company dearly. After servicing various businesses here in Oklahoma we are convinced that businesses need and look for three things: Trust Your business is that computer - is it safe if it leaves your premises? What about all the information stored in it? Who are you dealing with? These are very important questions that many business owners or office managers never think to ask up front. For some companies, the fact that we are a Christ centered business is means quite a bit. We are never offended to provide a business reference for our existing business clients. One way we demostrate trust is we carefully document passwords, logins and basic operations procedures. We do this so if there was a disaster we were unable to respond to, our company moved or other extreme event the virtual keys are in your hands and not soley ours. This empowers the business to be in charge and not behold-ant to their IT company. Expertise How long has this person serviced business systems? Do they have experience servicing the software you are using, or something similar? At Lightspeed we have dealt with all kinds of industry specific systems, as well as many common brand-name databases such as Quickbooks™ and MS Outlook™. In 5 years of commercial experience there hasn't yet been a system that we were unable to service or get up and running again. Sometimes resolving the issue requires working with the IT support staff at the developer itself. It helps tremendously to have someone on your end working with you, asking the right questions, to get you up and running quickly - saving you time and money. Speed "When can you be here?" is a question we get asked all the time. Typically we can get to you the same day. If we need to take the computer back to our shop, we usually can have it back to you the next day. Major issues can take longer - please call us for an estimate. If you prefer to bring your computer to us, we are based in Norman. We do not have a store-front, which keeps our costs (and prices) low, so please call to make an appointment before stopping by. Rates Typically most of our services are billed at $80/per hour, including travel time. For larger, time-sensitive issues, emergency rates may apply. Basic home based requests such as virus removal are not billed hourly. Please give us a call and mention where you heard about us!
